We're Riccardo & Lieke

We met in Sweden, spent eight unforgettable months in Rome, and have now packed our lives into boxes for a new adventure in the Netherlands.

Somewhere between Roman flavors and Dutch coziness, we realized the best things happen when you slow down. My Letterina is our way of sharing that — a little dolce vita and a touch of gezelligheid, folded into one envelope each month.

The little things pen pals like to know before they join.

When does my letterina arrive?+
A fresh envelope goes out on the 1st of every month. From there, delivery takes about 2 to 4 days within the Netherlands and 5 to 8 days internationally. The very first send-out is August 1st.
What's actually inside each envelope?+
Every letterina holds a handwritten letter, a painter postcard, a gut-loving Mediterranean recipe card, a physical habit tracker, stickers and a wax seal, and a little 3D-printed surprise designed in our studio. It's the full ritual, with no digital noise.
What language are the letters written in?+
Every letterina is written in English, so pen pals everywhere can enjoy it.
How much does it cost?+
It's €9.90/month for pen pals in the Netherlands and €12.90/month for international and gift subscriptions. Each plan renews automatically, so a new envelope arrives every month with no re-ordering.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes, there's no commitment and no hoops. Pause or cancel in two clicks from your account portal. You'll always know the date of your next envelope.
How does the gift subscription work?+
You subscribe on their behalf and their envelopes arrive at their door each month. The recipient isn't notified, the first letterina is the surprise. You'll add their shipping details at checkout.
What makes a founding pen pal special?+
Only the first 30 can be founders. You lock in your price, your name is printed in envelope #1, and you receive a founder keepsake. Founders also get to help shape each month's letterina. That's what the social tag is for. When the seats are gone, they're gone for good.
Why do you ask for my social tag?+
It's for founding members and anyone who'd like a say in the letterina making each month. We use it to reach you, share behind-the-scenes votes, and thank you properly. It's completely optional.
Where do you handle my address & payment?+
After you pick your envelope, we take you to a secure Shopify checkout where you add your shipping address and payment. That keeps your details safe and your subscription easy to manage.
